Jenny Hodson and Cracker
I first sat on a pony when I was about eight but didn't have proper riding lessons until I was 10.  We couldn't afford a pony when I was a kid, but I worked at our local riding school in return for rides and learnt a lot riding other people's horses.  I finally bought Cracker, my 14.2 chestnut mare as an unbroken three year old from an auction five and a half years ago.  She's a real...a-hem....character, but lots of fun

I have been riding since I was about 6 years old but didn't manage to get my own horse until I was in my 20's having saved like mad to buy one. They have stayed addictive and I now have 2 horses [Moses and Munchie]. I work for an Exam Board full time to pay for them and like most working owners struggle to fit everything in. I compete in dressage as regularly as I can given both working and my uncanny ability to pick horses with unusual veterinary complaints. My best achievement is usually to keep the horse between me and the ground  although Munchie and I have got to the Regional Championships in Dressage. I hack out with both horses and do some jumping mostly for fun at home.

Paul Hodson and Victor
I am pictured to the right with Victor who a new member of our family. I have had him so that I don't get left behind at the yard at the weekend.
It's been three years since I last had a horse. So very excited about riding with my wife and daughter again. Unfortunately I broke two ribs last week so i will have to wait awhile before getting in the saddle.(Not riding a horse, just a tractor) You can see my daughters horse in the back ground.
