| I have worked with horses all my life, holding the first BHSAI qualification in Scotland in 1947. I competed in Scottish and English showjumping circuits for fun in the 50’s to 70’s. The best achievements were being a finalist in the Foxhunter at Wembley and my biggest thrill was winning a grade C competition in the big ring at Hickstead. I am without a horse at the moment (temporarily, I hope) but the genes continue; my late son was Ewen Macrae and my daughter and granddaughter are both keen horsewomen. |
